This year they have four bands booked for the weekend, three fishing seminars - Fishing The River, Fishing The Sound and Fishing Offshore planned for Saturday.   6. Visit the Ivoryton Playhouse. The Ivoryton Playhouse is a historic theater that has been entertaining audiences for over 100 years. Run or watch the CHR’s Steam Train Half Marathon and Relay! This isn’t your typical marathon, spectators can ride along on the Steam Train for $25 by purchasing tickets through the Essex Train & Riverboat. A post-race celebration will take place at Surfridge Brewing Company, located right next to the Essex Steam Train (6 Main St., Centerbrook, CT 06049)! Doors will open at 10 a.m. Surfridge will offer its full brunch menu in addition to a Steam Train special.
